Education and experience

As with many young people, I lack professional experience to speak of. However, I don't think this means I am lacking in experience. Throughout my 23 years of life, I have been on a continual journey of learning, one where I have been able to change and transform myself, to continually unravel the best parts of myself, and in doing so build the foundation for further growth.

Coming to the present, the only place we can be. Hopefully soon I'll be able to update this to say that I got a 1 : 1 and nailed my studies, however, I will have been happy for the experience regardless. I have had the chance to challenge myself to commit fully to my writing. To explore avenues that I might not have, learn from the ways in which these have challenged me, and to fully develop the skills for storytelling that I've always had. In short, I've had a chance to spread my wings (yes I can do metaphors, no I don't charge extra).

Confidence, it's what actors have in spades, insecurity too, but you'll be hard pressed to get a lot of actors to admit it. I learnt a lot from my time living as one, mainly that confidence is the art of acting like you're not insecure. We only have ourselves to sell, as an actor this is a key thing to understand, we must learn ourselves, what our strengths and weaknesses are, what about us is interesting, what makes us unique, how we can build on these things, take them with us into whatever we do, even if we have to shape them to the role we are given.
